There’s no doubt about it – the advancements in dental technology over the past few years have brought countless benefits for both dentists and patients. At Montgomery Park Dental, we take full advantage of this advanced technology, which Dr. Jovanovic uses to provide top-notch dental services to her patients from throughout The Woodlands, Conroe, Willis, and Spring, Texas area.
- Intraoral cameras – Gone are the days of dentists performing an oral exam with a simple mirror! Today’s intraoral cameras provide clear digital images of virtually every portion of the patient’s mouth, allowing Dr. Jovanovic to more easily diagnose oral health issues and more readily recommend the appropriate treatment.
- CEREC scanner – CEREC technology allows Dr. Jovanovic and our staff of dental professionals to create custom-made crowns, implants, nightguards and Six Month Smiles® brackets right here in our office. This greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to create these restorations and appliances, and eliminates the need for relying on an outside dental lab to do that work for us.
- CBCT digital X-rays – Traditional X-rays served their purpose for many decades, but patients often worried that they left them exposed to unhealthy doses of radiation. Fortunately, CBCT digital X-ray technology not only creates clearer, more precise imagery – it also produces a fraction of the radiation created by traditional X-rays. Better still, the 3D imagery created by the CBCT scanner can assist Dr. Jovanovic in not only diagnoses, but also in performing procedures such as dental implant surgery.
- Hard tissue laser – Lasers have proven an invaluable tool for many dental procedures. Our hard tissue laser allows us to more easily remove carious tissue from the patient’s teeth while still preserving the enamel and dentin layers. Hard tissue lasers are an excellent, much less invasive means of performing a variety of procedures.
- Soft tissue laser – Gum tissue surgery used to involve literally cutting away at the tissue. But thanks to the soft tissue laser, invasive gum procedures are a thing of the past. This laser minimizes discomfort for the patient, reduces bleeding, and reduces the amount of time required for recovery.
- Biolase Epic Hygiene Laser – Epic Hygiene is an advanced dental treatment that combines focused light and thermal energy for a precise and gentle experience during your dental cleaning. It offers faster healing, less anesthetic, and reduced discomfort. Epic treatments are more comfortable, convenient, and precise than conventional methods.
- Primescan – The Primescan sets new standards for intraoral scanning for digital impressions. We are able to quickly and more accurately scan patients’ teeth to create crowns, clear aligners, implants, sleep apnea devices, etc. This allows for more comfortable, higher quality, aesthetically pleasing results, and shortens appointment times.
- The Wand – One of our practice’s most recent investments is The Wand to provide our patients with painless injections. The comfort of our patients remains a top priority at Montgomery Park Dental and this new modern device helps us achieve it.
