YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
We are accepting new patients and look forward to meeting you!
Please contact us to schedule your appointment. After we find a day and time that works best with your schedule, we’ll send you forms to conveniently fill out online prior to your visit. Completing these forms with health history and other information as soon as possible helps ensure that we have everything we need to get started when you arrive and saves you time in our office.
If you have dental insurance, please provide us with your plan details at least 72 hours in advance so our team has enough time to connect with your insurance company and verify your benefits.
Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know you, evaluate your oral health, and for you to learn about our dental office. During your new patient consultation, Dr. Jovanovic or Dr. Aston will:
- Review your health history and dental concerns
- Perform a comprehensive dental exam
- Take necessary x-rays
- Discuss treatment options and create a personalized dental plan
New patient appointments for adult patients are about 90 minutes. This allows us to provide a thorough, no-rush evaluation and establish your records to then move forward with next steps to achieve your best dental health.
At the end of your first appointment, we’ll then work with you to schedule your next visit for a cleaning or treatment based on your consultation with the dentist. Regular healthy mouth teeth cleanings are about 30-60 minutes. If you’re needing a deep cleaning, also known as scaling and root planing, or any other recommended treatment then we’ll work with you to find an appointment that allows for enough time to properly complete your specific treatment needs.
